Shipping Policy: Go To Garden

At Go To Garden, we want your order to arrive safely, on time, and in perfect condition. Here's everything you need to know about how we get your garden essentials to you.


Delivery Charges Delivery charges, if applicable, are calculated at checkout based on your order value, weight, and delivery location. You will always see the full delivery cost — including any surcharges — before you confirm payment. You will never be charged more than the amount shown at checkout.

In some cases, depending on the product and supplier, delivery may be offered free of charge. This will be clearly reflected at checkout.


Fuel & Carrier Surcharges The cost of delivery is subject to ongoing change across the industry. Fuel surcharges applied by national carriers are reviewed regularly and may fluctuate. We absorb these costs where we can. Any surcharge that applies to your order will always be clearly displayed at checkout before you pay.


Regional Surcharges Deliveries to certain postcodes incur additional charges due to carrier surcharges for remote areas. The following regions are subject to a higher delivery rate, which will be clearly shown at checkout:

  • Scottish Highlands & Islands (IV, KW, PA, PH, ZE, HS postcodes) — surcharge applies, 5-8 day delivery

The following locations are not currently served:

  • Isle of Man & Channel Islands — excluded due to biosecurity restrictions on live plant material
  • Scilly Isles & Lundy Island — excluded due to freight limitations
  • Northern Ireland (BT postcodes) — not available at this time

Delivery Estimates

  • Standard Delivery — typically 2–3 working days from dispatch
  • Express Delivery — typically 1–2 working days from dispatch

These are estimates provided by our carriers and are not guaranteed. Delays may occasionally occur due to weather, carrier capacity, or other factors outside our control.


Processing Times Most orders are processed and dispatched within 1–2 working days of payment confirmation. Orders placed after 12pm may be processed the following working day. During peak seasons (spring planting, autumn bulb season), processing times may be slightly longer — we'll always keep you informed.


Direct Dispatch from Suppliers To ensure the freshness and quality of our products, some items are dispatched directly from our specialist suppliers. This means:

  • Your order may arrive in more than one delivery
  • Packaging may carry the supplier's branding rather than Go To Garden branding
  • Dispatch timings for live stock may vary depending on the growing season and supplier availability

Perishable & Live Goods Live material is carefully packaged to survive transit. Please inspect your order promptly upon arrival. If live goods appear damaged or in poor condition, contact us within 48 hours with photographic evidence so we can resolve the issue quickly.


Order Tracking Where available, you will receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched. Tracking availability depends on the carrier and service used. Some supplier-dispatched items may not include full tracking.


Failed Deliveries If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, your carrier will leave a calling card and hold the parcel at a local depot or delivery office. Please arrange redelivery or collection within the carrier's timeframe. Uncollected parcels returned to us may incur a re-dispatch fee.


UK Delivery — Mainland & Highlands Only We currently deliver to UK mainland and Scottish Highlands & Islands addresses only.

We are unable to deliver to the following locations:

  • Isle of Man
  • Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey)
  • Scilly Isles
  • Lundy Island
  • Northern Ireland (coming soon)

This is due to a combination of biosecurity restrictions on live plant material, carrier limitations, and unpredictable freight costs to these locations. We hope to extend our delivery coverage in the future and will update this policy accordingly.

We do not offer international shipping outside the United Kingdom.
